  1. Let's make no mistake, Zuk is the fastest Polish skier now. Hojnisz has some of these slow laps quite frequently tbh but she's still pretty good. Preuss is like poor man's Simone Greiner Petter-Memm. Good enough for a Top 5-6 on her best day but never a race winning talent. Hauser is just too slow on the skis to make a proper challenge for medals.
  2. Yes, the women's sprint had the most adverse wind conditions. Then again, Haecki has been the "outsider with potential" for like 5 years now. She had a huge hype coming from the juniors and just hasn't been able to get over the hump yet. Dare I say Kamila Zuk is an outsider with potential too but she's had a terrible shooting results here
  3. Lena Haecki is having a terrible champs on the range. I'd say Swiss women are more likely to get onto the penalty loop rather than the podium.
  4. Well, she finished 84th in WOG 2018 sprint which was her senior debut. Last season she competed in only two World Cup individual starts (plus some relays): Hochfilzen sprint (89th) and Ruhpolding sprint (82th) where she finished behind Poland's Karolina Piton despite having fewer misses. Piton is so bad she's basically our #6/7 biathlete so this is real bad. So 2019/20 is her first full season in World Cup. Like I said before, her only points before Antholz was in Ostersund individual (39th). But she won three medals in Lenzerheide World Juniors.
  5. Well, the French women's team is having a terrible championships here. Probably the biggest underperformers of the lot.
  6. Third PB in as many races for Milena Todorova (17th). She's gonna qualify for the mass start now? It feels like she's scored more points in the last three races then the entire Bulgarian female team since Dafovska's retirement A new low for Synnoeve Solemdal. She finished only 13 secs. ahead of Amanda Lightfoot with the same numbers of misses.
  7. Kamila Zuk had 10 misses And our debutante Jakiela had 11. Only the Kozica girl mentioned here before and the Mongolian had more. ES doing interview with Hojnisz? How strange.
  8. Rieder loses a chance for the medal with one miss. Should be her PB by miles?
  9. Wierer ahead by 2,2 secs!!!
  10. Wierer 1,6 secs ahead with 300 meters left. Man, this is close!!
  11. Wierer in with a shot for the gold?
  12. Hinz 19/20. Could be the gold.
  13. Olsbu with two misses looking good for a medal? Hinz 15/15.
  14. Hello, what did I say?
  15. Hojnisz 15/15. I fear she's gonna miss two in the last shooting though
  16. Serious but non-life threatening injuries for Newman.
  17. Monika Hojnisz once again draws an early start number for the individual (#8). Joanna Jakieła (#96) will make her World Cup debut. She has had only 7 IBU Cup starts in the seniors with her best result of 15th in Ridnaun super sprint last season.
  18. Ryan Newman has been taken away in ambulance. Not looking good here
  19. Classic modern Daytona. 135 laps of boredom and then the shitshow began. The last 20 laps lasted one hour
  20. More wrecking. Logano won't win it.
  21. Logano caused the Big One.
  22. Considering it's a winter sport, biathlon has basically reached the peak of its powers. What other countries that have a potential but are missing would you add? There is only as much snow available I'm more than satisfied Germany doesn't dominate luge anymore. Chinese dominance in table tennis is still real though. Every God damn nation has a Chinese player competing under their flag Hell, Poland's best table tennis player is Chinese too! I have to worry about my job and family so excuse me I'm not jumping on the "I can change the world" bandwagon I kinda suspect you don't have to worry about a mortgage or any kids at your home yet, right?
  23. World isn't build on morals. Sorry to bring you the bad news but the climate change crusaders ain't running OPEC out of business. Not in this century anyway After the next global war which will be nuclear we will all start from the scratch anyway
  24. It's a winter sport. Half of the world is automatically excluded from being competitive in it unless some single maniacs move to a country where there is snow present. You can't fix that no matter what bright ideas you have. Looking at winter sports, biathlon has the most athletes and nations competing at a high level. And you're not satisfied with it and want to change that? It just doesn't make any sense. Please show me just one other winter sport where there are more athletes and nations competing at the highest level. Just one!
  25. I did. And I ignored all the climate change crap options. I don't care about that
