Zambia secures the victory with the vote of the last judge. An intense and close match, it was. Last Quarterfinal match for the Challenge Trophy, and last of this session, will be Kosovo vs. Hong Kong. Kosovo won an impressive victory over Iceland in the first round. Hong Kong on the other hand had a much closer match against the host, Japan. It's going to be interesting to see which of the two countries proceed to the Semifinals.

The first Semifinal of the Challenge Trophy has been found. It's going to be a rematch between two teams from Group A, Jamaica and Belarus. Who will be third nation to secure their place among the last 4? It's time to look at another African match-up as Mali and Zambia will go up against each other. Mali lost in the repechages to Guatemala. Zambia won against Iraq in the first round after an incredible comeback from the Zambians. Let's see which country will take a step closer to possibly winning the Challenge Trophy

Jamaica secures the first spot in the Semifinals of the Challenge Trophy. Next up is an European match-up between Monaco and Belarus. Monaco only became fifth in their group, but won a close match against South Korea who ended fourth in their group. Belarus comes into this match after a devasting lost against Costa Rica in the Repechages where they threw away a 3-1 lead. Despite the loss, Belarus could consider themselves the favourite for this match. Will Monaco make a surprise?

I do have a Tennis US Open prediction contest in mind. The upcoming prediction contests will most likely be a Tour de France prediction contest and a Tennis US Open prediction contest. I'm not completely sure about what format I would use for the US Open prediction contest? We do have tennis bracket templates, so we could make a full bracket tournament for both the men's and women's tournaments. User could predict the outcome of the first 4 rounds. The points system for the first 4 rounds could be something like this - Correct Winner + Correct Set Score - 2 points - Correct Winner + Wrong Set Score - 1 points - Wrong Winner - 0 points Then from the quarterfinals and onwards, the point system could be like this: - Correct Winner + Correct Set Score - 5 points - Correct Winner + Wrong Set Score - 3 points - Wrong Winner - 0 points The users could also be asked to pick/predict the winners in the men's and women's tournaments. Before the start of the first matches users would pick 3 players in both the men's and women's tournaments and rank each. If a user's 1st-ranked player wins, the user will score x-amount of points, or if a user's 2nd- or 3rd-ranked player wins, the user will score x-amount of points. Of course those points would be less than a 1st-ranked player would score. However, the issue with having a full bracket tournament contest could be that if a user predicts Player A to go to the 4th round, but he/she loses in the 1st round, the user would already lose many points. And if that happen to many of a user's picks, the user would maybe lose interest in the contest before the next rounds begins. I would really like some suggestions from the community to a format for a Tennis US Open prediction contest? -
I would personally like the idea of having a special standalone TISC edition every Olympic year (Summer Olympics). Instead of having it after the Games have finished, we could have it as a warm up event to the Games. The contest could run for 4-5 weeks, with a 2.5-3 weeks registration period, entries selection and all other preparations made, and a 2-2.5 weeks contest period To make an example with this, or rather next year's Games. The first events of the Olympics would have started on July 22nd this year. A schedule example for a TISC Special event could have looked like this. A simple schedule example for a TISC Special event: June 14th Registration and Entries Selection Window Open June 28th Registration and Entries Selection Window Closed July 03rd Tournament Draw is made July 05th Totallympics International Song 2020 Special Event begins July 19th Totallympics International Song 2020 Special Event ends
