  1. Nations like Malta, Macedonia, Oman, Nicaragua ,Bhutan, Nepal, Aruba, Myanmar, Belgium,Ireland, Senegal, Montenegro, Iraq, Bolivia, etc are some of the nations who will probably join the qualified list through reallocations or tripartite invitation accordingly. Can't say all of the above but around 40-50% of above
  2. Cleansweep of 25m pistol women for India. With this Manu Bhaker, the 2nd highest qualification score shooter at 593, in 25m pistol has failed to qualify for the event at the Olympics despite the bronze today. Chinki Yadav takes her place. This in addition to finals WR holder Apurvi Chandela who has failed to qualify for this Olympics .
  3. Terrible performance for Indians Clean sweep in 25m pistol women, gold for aishwarya pratap tomar IN 503p and no finalist in women's 503p. Yet not a single shooter would have made it to the respective finals with that score in the last 2 years or so. Basically a medalless day. Rahi at 581 was closest a 585-586 would be required though. Aishwarya was like 12-13 points short and Tejaswini like 7-8... USA is a suprise package here been medal less last few years in rifle and pistol
  4. Oh well I believed Finland didn't win a olympic quota in any event then saw they did in the shotgun event. Good that issf wc is happening now and not in april or may as the 2nd wave is gripping the country with 60% of total cases daily from Maharashtra.
  5. We could reach 15-20 golds with some 35 medal events
  6. Out of Finland(2 shooters in finals) , Denmark and Switzerland the ranking quota and the reallocation will be distributed France has opportunity in european qualifiers
  7. No no trap event is not done here depends on what is the position of the best unqualified shooter here
  8. With african and oceania cancelled iwf may change the rules again
  9. I am not very sure but shooters losefraction of points from each event after 1 year so yeah it's the way it is now.
  10. Both are in Qualifying position if Europen quotas are decided from here .
  11. Familiar names with few suprises here and there in men's categories
  12. Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik has failed to qualify in trials, Defending Asian Champion who won all her matches by fall Divya Kakran has lost, former WC medallist Pooja Dhanda has lost, 3 time National Champion Kiran has lost . So we have a very very new and young team in women's wrestling. The following wrestlers have been selected: Seema (50 Kg), Anshu Malik (57 Kg), Sonam Malik (62 Kg), Nisha (68 Kg), Pooja (76 Kg)
  13. Felt like a proper biathlon race. Ostersund should have hosted world championships or two WCs maybe the unpredictability of the race due to strong winds made it the best race of the season (men / women) for me. Lead changed so much and the bottom 5 athlethes included Wierer(26th), Roiseland(29th), Simon(30th) wow. It was so much Eckhoff and so much direct that it was boring.
  14. I think some athletes sure of the quota by ranking will skip the tournament due to safety concerns ,biobubble ,quarantine etc @Dolby Skeet ranking who gets quota
  15. But still epee sounded like proper fencing to me when I read rules for the first time. Rest all were adaptations / modifications with individual events more than enough maybe team epee is still fine easy to understand.
  16. Yeah like kamalpreet just 1 throw 65 she may not do 62m for months... Some more will come suddenly and we say olympic gold medal favorite then they finish at like 30th position in qualifiers
  17. Exactly what I meant. 128 quotas for archery, 212 for fencing how unfair. And @Dunadan @phelps no matter what you put forward end of the day its wrong. Why should quotas be halved in archery? 36/64 belong to team so team event shouldn't be cancelled so 64 is fine for a sport older than fencing. Instead Fencing should have 128 quotas like archery 20*6 events with only top 3 nations in each discipline able to send 2 athletes if both in top 8 + 8 tripartite invitation and a mixed team event opossibly, ideally not required. Of the 84 saved quotas archery can take say 20-24 each gender. 12 events in fencing is way too much
  18. Not to forget he wasted quotas in having team event in each fencing discipline ridiculous when compound archery is still not given at least 20 quotas for individual event.
  19. Actually not. She's 90% out of Olympics . It's about Maneesha Keer and her form
  20. Will be a good support to vismaya / povamma
  21. Imagine someone from nowhere running in 51 odd...
  22. I'm expecting a athlete or two to come from nowhere to qualify in individual and then relay. Vismaya may be one of the athletes. Povamma is getting slower and shifting to 800m. Maybe Hima can still be in team in 4 months time if injury goes away.
  23. Otherwise also it's a very very weak team. I read a article about the women's coach she said all athletes are close to family and they havent met them for a very very long time. So they are mentally down and not motivated.
  24. 17-16 at half time for Russia not at all convincing. Feels like Russia is Kazakhstan and Kazakshthan is Russia looking at the confused and fearful Russians.
  25. Not to forget she once skied faster than Hana Sola this year , who was the fastest skier of the day ,some 45s faster than Eckhoff if I am not wrong
