  1. Grade 9 as in US
  2. Yup that's true. We had a chapter in Democratic Politics in Class 9 about Lebanon and it's unique system.
  3. Well that's what. It is not possible to remove swimming. As shooting was optional and they don't do well on it, wasn't a difficult decision after all.
  4. I didn't find anything false. Correct me if I have one
  5. I repeat past is past. Put in the results from 2019 world cups and compare the other countries. So I don't care about the Olympic tally about the countries.Lets see after Tokyo!!
  6. If you don't follow shooting sport pls refrain from commenting . India is undoubtedly the best nation in shooting by leaps and bounds currently. If shooting was scrapped 2 decades ago it wouldn't have mattered much but now it's just manipulating to strengthen England's position.
  7. Lol!! The size of the town and venue isnt a problem. If they wanted to they could have hosted it. Secondly when you tell something make sure it's true. Birmingham never offered to host rifle and pistol events. They only wanted to host the 300m rifle bore, the queen's prize event, the most useless shooting event held outdoors . ISSF said no because it wanted rifle, pistol and shotgun not that nonsense 300m rifle.
  8. Well actually if you see the following teams : Ratio of India : Pakistan (No indigenous players) UAE - 50:50 Hong Kong - 40 :60 Oman : 15:85 Singapore : 70: 30 Canada : Mix of Ind, Pak, WI, Sri and few Canadians US : Same as Canada, few US Japan is the next nation on cards for non commonwealth spot, they have qualified for ICC U19 WC in January 2020. A mix of few Indians, Australians and around 10-15 native Japanese. Also note there is a U19 Women's World Cup of 16 teams starting in 2021. Expect more of the Non commonwealth nations.China ,Indonesia(who have a women's cricket league from sub junior level, club cricket etc from this year) Brazil etc could qualify some day.
  9. I have always protested against Oman, UAE, Singapore etc competing with Indian and Pakistani players. I'll be supporting Netherlands and Namibia today. Then maybe Scotland tomorrow. Somehow it will be an Oman vs Hong Kong still I believe for the final spot. Thailand in a way are the best non commonwealth nation as their women qualified for the 10 team T20WC and I don't think any of these can be in top 12 of Men's WC T20.
  10. Perfectly said by @Olympian1010 When cycling can be held in London why not shooting in Manchester which is nearer than London. More over shooting has seen a domination from India at the world stage like never before. So removing it will be more than just losing medals!! It will be like denying our shooters a important chance of exposure in multi sport events , which is required as shooting is expected to win more medals than any other sport worldwide.
  11. Qualified for their First ever ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Also Qualified for the 2020 WC in Australia. Qualifying Playoffs : 1. vs. 2. vs.
  12. Funny Chinese Draw!! A repeat of the French Open semi final Tai Tzu Ying vs Carolina Marin in very 1st round. Meanwhile Cai Yanyan got easy draw and anything less than semis will be surprising considering her opponents starting from a walk in the park match against Saina!!
  13. Ashwini -Sathwik are sort of unpredictable. They lose to lesser known players but are much better than that. They have lost just 1 match to the Olympics silver medallist Chan /Goh (some 4:1 and also have a clean sheet against al the other Malaysian pairs . However the Chinese, Japanese and Korean have caused a problem. They aren't very comfortable with Indonesians too. So with more practice they can do well. The Indian pair is at the edge (15th) and qualification depends on the performance of Egypt and Australia. If they get the minimum requirement they'll get continental spot. So Top 13 is safe but with some extremely good pairs from Netherlands and Germany won't be easy!!
  14. Pranav -Sikki can't qualify. Only reasonable chance in mixed is ashwini -Satwik
  15. The final team composition will be revealed within a hour if I am not wrong!!
  16. Belgium were always going to find it difficult, no matter how they are in Europe, a packed motivating crowd is more than enough for China. The only way they could win it was by aggregate score of good margin!
  17. Also is there a voting for songs in festival of music?
  18. Is it 1 song per nation or 2 song per nation maximum in festival of music?
  19. BANGLADESH Here is a song which is one of my all time favourite when it comes to theme songs for any sporting events. Char Chokka Hoi Hoi
  20. Wow that's cool. I usually have classes 8am to 5pm for most days except of the week. Upon that so many projects and assignments so I get time only in the evening!!
  21. @dcro When will the teams for your event be unveiled? I hope it's a open draw this time
  22. I'd like to represent for my second entry!!
