  1. In my case I don't expect this As main opposition party (KO) is the most loud here, they didn't wins any elections since many years and when they ruled in the country some things were even worse than now. There is still some more other parties which never (or in last 15 years) had even small chance to win elections. It's always game between PiS and KO. It is choice between a hammer and an anvil or bigger/lesser evil. I have no idea why people didn't vote for other parties, really.
  2. It won't happen in this case as leading party PiS is overally against any abortion even in case of rape... And they have the biggest amount of deputies in the Sejm, so... Only one hope is in the Senate, that they can reject some laws suggested by Sejm, but it's still long way. And still President have the final word and have to accept any changes in the Constitution, but he is supported by leading party.
  3. Today we "returned to the Middle Ages" as Constitutional Court decided that abortion is illegal in case if the fetus is damaged or doesn't have an part of body, has Down's syndrome or is even dead as constitution says that "everyone has the right to life" Now womens will have trauma when they will give birth to dead or seriously disabled baby Now abortion is legal only in case if pregnancy can affected seriously on health/life of the women and if fetus is consequence of rape and incest...
  4. More than 12k cases and 168 deaths today. Press conference is postponed for tomorrow due very long deliberations in the Sejm about adding some new points to anti-covid law.
  5. And we "reached" another milestone, more than 10k cases in one day and second time with more than 130 deaths Tomorrow will be weekly press conference of Prime Ministry and Head of Ministry of Health about new restrictions and so on.
  6. Well, this was quick, after first two listenings I'm already down to 17 songs Three songs (maybe four) are fighting for getting my 12 points.

  8. He wasn't "yet" Olympian but it's still worth to mention. He was just 22yo
  9. Italy didn't withdraw "yet". But Poland will represented by just 8 judokas, instead previously registered 24
  10. It was announced today that with incoming lack of doctors in hospitals, here in the "drive-thru points" soldiers will take samples. Also in all 16 voivodship cities will be soon opened field hospitals, the one in Warsaw will be on conference rooms in National Stadium where for example Euro 2012 matches were played.

  15. Wimbledon will be held in next year as planned
  16. 8099 cases in today and 91 deaths, with record number of tests around 64500 still isn't enough to "caught" all infected people and stop all of this. Due this extremely fast rise of new cases half of country from Saturday will be in "red zone" with many restrictions like limited number of people in public transport, shops, cinemas/museums, churches and other similar places, wedding, birthday parties and so on will be banned, sport events will be held without spectators, swimming pools, gyms and aquaparks will be closed. If cases will still rise then in next week probably "stay in home" order will return. Edit: Worthy to mention is also fact that online learning will return, but only for students from universities and high schools.
  17. More than 30k cases in in last 24 hours
  18. Thanks Are you 100% sure about road events in athletics? Some time ago I read that WA changed their mind and 50km race walkers and marathon runners can qualify since 1st September but then they returned to their previous decision that qualifications in all events are suspended till 1st December. I wonder since qualifications will return in December if then results achieved during indoor meetings will be counted as well or just those outdoor and date of 1st December is just "symbolic" What about Judo Grand Slam in Budapest? Today I checked that also Olympic ranking in golf was updated in Monday.
  19. Since some sport events are in action again, someone know which event (and when are supposed to be happen) will serve direct Olympic qualifications or will offer points to Olympic ranking?
  20. I'm very worried as well, because they are only very worried
  21. That's beautiful view I want see such amount of snow here at Christmas...
