-57kg: gold for :JPN Japan, Silver for :USA USA and the it's a coin toss, everything will depend on the draw...my picks "just to play" are :BLR Belarus and :MDA Moldova...imho the 3rd and 4th best girls in this class...

-62kg: :BUL Bulgaria's Huseyn is the best in this class, I hope she can show it on the mat...

then my pick for silver goes to the current world champion and :KGZ Kyrgyzstan's best hope for a medal, Tynybekova...for bronze, once again the draw will be a key factor, but my picks go to :JPN Japan's Kawai and :RUS Russia's Chumikova ("any other" in the poll)...

Nope it won't. No one can beat Odunayo Adekuoroye of Nigeria. Kawaii may have minute chance but still no. Helen Maroulis lol she is not even gonna medal. She should look to improve her attitude and stop arguing  after losing that badly to Odunayo, the gold medal favorite.

She absolutely isn't may be 10th or 11th best out of 16. Tynybekova is good and so are a few other wrestlers.

Another athlete people are neglecting is Marwa Amri of Tunisia. She's coming back to form and could pretty well challenge a medal (more than the Bulgarian)

Poland Open definitely has thrown some light over what to expect from wrestlers

Helen Maroulis losing 13-0 in 4 minutes and arguing with Odunayo as if she deserved win was the funniest thing. Odunayo did try to be cool and console Helen, but that arrogant American girl!

Hmmm, Taybe has 14 medals from Worlds/Euros, but okey  Take Sastin out and she probably has more medals than the rest combined. The most important thing is that she is fully healthy, unlike these past 2 years.

What matters is form and she isn't gonna medal at Tokyo unless she gets a lucky draw.

    • Record crowds for this weekend, according to the British Comms so well done  les bouffe-grenouilles!   Jeanmonnot has ice water in her veins, not giving anything away.   Minkinnen up to second!   That' s the win for , second for & a four-way fight for third!   Wierer takes it!
    • Suspect strongly that the Sultan of  is behind Global Wushu!     Another one is long distance & ultra triathlon.  There are literally millions being paid out in prize money to attract big name athletes from several sports, huge FTA TV coverage but seemingly no prospect of any profit.   And the classic is obstacle racing, which has effectively bought up the ownership of Modern Pentathlon.
    • apparently the Japanese organizers rejected OCA's nice request    now OCA is ordering them to do so in a not-so-nice language https://oca.asia/media/attachments/memberships_subcommittee/5/Decision_-_103rd_OCA_EB_Meeting_5ypY8y4.pdf   the last line is very interesting   I knew this for a while, for example that's why Jujjtsu is included in all of OCA events (despite being the worst sport to watch) but good to see OCA admit this. so with the corrupt OCA you can buy your way in. how much they paid the OCA officials for this ?   OK I know Qatar is financially supporting Padel (and UAE is paying everything for Jujitsu) but who is behind Teqball?  ! I don't think Thailand can do that.
    • Important information on team Aerials.   There is no AIN`s team at the start list of the world cup despite of the fact that belorussians have enough athletes to have a team.   https://medias4.fis-ski.com/pdf/2026/FS/8119/2026FS8119SLF1.pdf
    • By the way. It looks like no AIN`s will be in biathlon by the start of the Olympics. Russians filed an appeal to CAS to get AIN statuses in biathlon. But IBU did not agree to have hearings with short procedure. So the decisons are not expected before the end of qulifying period. (FIS could do the same but its top-officials prefer to help russians be back as quick as possible).   I would like to see Dolidovich at the Games. Because she is a real refugee of the relatively high level.
