But again there was some rotten luck involved. Out of 25 teams, Ireland was drawn 1st in first round and 2nd in second round! Incredible! A huge disadvantage to go before having any idea how the course is riding...

 

Cian and Sweetnam are good, but yeah, Paul and the other Shane were out of place here.

But the truth is they were not strong enough to challenge. We haven't had a top showjumper who can deliver for a decade now, never mind 4 of them.
