Day 4 Summary of India at RIO 2016

Finally there are many good news today .. Though no medal.

Men's Hockey

After giving tough fight against current Olympic champion yesterday,
India won against Argentina by 2-1. This is first win against Argentina after 6 yrs by India.

Looks like P.R.Sreejesh ensure Indian Kids to take Hockey stick instead of Cricket bat after this Olympics:)

Rowing

Dattu Baban Bhokanal surprised by finishing 4th in Quarterfinals and moved to Semi finals now. First Indian to achive this feet. Good show by him again.

Boxing

Vikas Krishan Yadav moved Round of 16 by beating American by 3-0

Archery

Atanu Das - He is really awesome today. After two matched, he moved to Round of 16. In first round he beat Nepali by 6-0 with Scores of 29-29-30.
In Second round, He beat Cuban 6-4. It excellent match by him, After first two round he was leading by 4-0, he lost next two round with score of 4-4.
In last round he beat the pressure and got the score of 29 with last arrow from his bow hits bulls eye (10).

Now he is going meeting Korean, Hope he overcome the Korean monster.

Shooting

Shooters continue to disappoint us with Heena fails to qualify for 25m Pistol women and finished 20th. Though its not her favorite event, her scores was disappointing.

There is extremely high turnout, and no pollster, politician, or newspaper had predicted it; now they’re all there throwing out data. No one has any idea why people voted, also because it was very technical and almost empty polling stations were expected. It will be interesting to understand whether this is a protest vote against the government or a protest vote against the judiciary.
