By that logic we shouldn't have sent them to the Asian games too, went on to win 2 medals.

All indian boxers won on day 2 also..... Simranjit and Sakshi against 4th seed Thailand..... 4/4 for India till now

Fed Cup: Rutuja Bhosale, Ankita Raina Win as India Beat Uzbekistan

 

India will next take on Korea today. The top-two teams in the six-team competition will qualify for the Fed Cup Pay-offs, to be held in April.

In fact we currently have 5 just one win from qualifying  women - lovlina, Pooja, Simranjit and Sakshi........  Men - Satish......

In fact looking at the draw barring gaurav solanki who faces mirzazbeg of uzb ( world Championship gold medallist ) in the round of 16 all can win and win and qualify..... My best estimate 4 women / 4-5 men

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony. 
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
