Viraj Madappa claims the maiden Title at the age of 20 in his maiden Asian Tour at the Vietnam Open. Great start for the career of the youngster. Ranked at 1561 this victory would surely push  him inside top 500 and to great heights in days to come.

I was going through the Asian games schedule & various chances for India. Found out that we can achieve 6 out of 8 Olympic quotas

1) Hockey (both men & women) - Gold - Possible

2) Archery (both men & women recurve individual) - Difficult but possible

3) Tennis (both men & women singles) - Difficult but possible

4) Sailing (both men & women laser) - Not possible

Looks like that is is not the case. Jitu rai is out of World Championships as well...There has been trails and the criteria was something like best four scores within a period of 150 days.

I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
