I cannot describe how happy I am for Kvitova  This time last year I was afraid in what state she is going to return.. But she already exceeded expectations. What even more surprised me is her determination and will to keep winning after losing first sets! And what a run - beating Radwanska, world #4, #9, #1 and #3 back-to-back

13 wins in a row, 5-0 over top 5 players this season so far, return to Top 10 and career title #22. Also, 2017 is the only year starting since her breakthrough when she didn't win a P5/PM title (level to Masters 1000).

You can go in hibernation now (but first, withdraw from Dubai please) and hopefully you can wake up for grass season :hearts:

Roger Federer won his 97th ATP title in Rotterdam after defeating Dimitrov 6-2, 6-2 in the final :champion:

If somehow he could manage to win two titles before Wimbledon... It would be just magnificent to win 100th title on Centre Court :)

Kerber defeated Pliskova in straight sets in Dubai quarters, she's absolutely back on winning ways and I think overall a very good start for her this season

Just watched the replay of the Shapovalov-Tiafoe matchup in Delray and, as sad as I am that Shapo did not make it to the final, Tiafoe played amazing! No wonder he beat Delpo earlier in the tournament... The NextGen guys are really starting the year well, I'm loving it!

Hopp Suisse! Forza Italia! Go Canada Go!

Men tennis tournament in Dubai is beggining today after few hours!

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov is considered for favourite

in the competition when Rodjer Federer (the legend) is not participating!

What will happen?

I wish we all watch good and interesting tennis, as this tournament is from ATP 500

and points gained are important (just like every big competition).

Wish luck to all tennis-players as this tournament is going to be stormy!

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
