"Uverile smo se na ovoj utakmici kako se igra košarka na Olimpijskim igrama. Dobro smo se namučili da im pariramo i da dođemo do pobede. Ovo je bukvalno ono što nas čeka na Igrama, ovako gruba, ovako fizička igra u smislu agresivnosti u odbrani, u skoku, u trčanju, načina na koji će nas mučiti recimo Kanada ili Senegal. Od prvog minuta utakmice bukvalno su sevali laktovi i pesnice na sve strane, u mnogim momentima igračice su bile na patosu i sa naše i sa njihove strane. Što se tiče provere, utakmica je stopostotno uspela i time je nadoknađeno neodigravanje prijateljske utakmice protiv Senegala u Beogradu. Ovo što smo odigrale protiv Brazila je potpuno drugačije u odnosu na one dve utakmice koje smo odigrale protiv Turske pre deset dana", istakla je Maljkovićeva.
