Carlson maybe overpaid imo

I don't know...I mean, probably in an ideal world he's been overpaid, but considering who's on the market and who's not, how important he's to the team (not only as a player on the ice) and the general trend -and rules- of the NHL salaries (as I wrote a few days ago, the cap for the next season is expected to increase up to 80 millions US $ from 75 millions of the last campaign) I guess it's pretty in line with a player and team leader of his caliber...

however, I'm curious to see what happens with the Caps, after Trotz left for the Islanders (and I just can't imagine what happens in Long Island if Tavares opt for another team on July 1st)...

a few more news about the NHL offseason moves...

first of all, the Tavares saga is not yet to the end...he needs (at least) another day to eat his own words from earlier this year, before explaining the Islanders fans he won't play anymore for that serial losers...:lol::rofl::facepalm:

https://www.nhl.com/news/john-tavares-decision-will-likely-take-another-day/c-299335806

then, Barry Trotz has finally found his successor in Washington...and he is, as the players wanted, his former assistent Todd Reirden (which means that Ovi and Backstrom are the new real co-coaches of the team :pope::whistle::lol:)...

https://www.nhl.com/news/todd-reirden-named-coach-of-washington-replaces-barry-trotz/c-299341596

finally, Drew Doughty agrees to 8-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Kings (terms undisclosed, since he can't officially sign until July 1st)...:cheer::bounce::bounce::bounce:

There are still girls like Pirovano, who are quite young and are already started winning. Alpine skiing in Italy is similar to ski jumping in Poland: there are speak about no young talents, but there is always someone new – it is a matter of the popularity of these sports in these countries and the large amounts of money invested in them.
