It's actually not the first time, the Nîmes romans arenas host a sporting event. In the early 90's the arenas were coverted and a couple of handball matches and a Davis Cup tie were played there.

It's a very nice choice though, it feels a million times more 'alive' than that dead stadium in Marseille at the Tour de France time trial last month.

I don't know what you expected from a team full of B and C-cyclists   (ok, Kudus is not bad at all, but the rest of them isn't going to get you any big results without a miracle)

I don't know the standings at the moment but my feeling says Manzana Postobon is the big favourite for the last position

Ooooof course, the Vuelta is a few km under way and LottoNL already had their first big fall. That was a strange crash from Tolhoek.
