Impressive result for Bjontegaard.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Guzik... wtf r u doing, hon?

Shocked (in a bad way) that Zhuravok is better than Varvynets. At least Zhuravok improved, good to see her approaching the elite.

She still can't shoot good as earlier?  I can't believve that last year accident have such long impact on her...

Weird start list for tomorrow's mass start (women):

https://sesongstartskiskyting.no/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/2017-Mass-W-Start.pdf

78 biathletes so far. No Eckhof, no German team, no Belarusian team, No Valj Semerenko, Pidhrushna and Zhuravok.

There's Dzhima & Blashko. Vita is going to compete without her sister.

The men's start list looks normal:

Heat A: https://sesongstartskiskyting.no/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/2017-Mass-M-HA-Start.pdf

Heat B: https://sesongstartskiskyting.no/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/2017-Mass-M-HB-Start.pdf

9 penalty loops for Braisaz

I would've called Vita Semerenko incredible if not the 3 misses... other than that it was awesome come back from both sisters.

Vita never was a superfast skier so the new tempo requires a different shooting. I'm glad that she took risks.

No excuses for Varvynets... guuurl, you better werk! :)

Dramatic weight loss influenced Merkushhyna so she needs to adjust as well.

I hope there will be no quarantine for Blashko but her coach doesn't want to throw her under the main team "bus" anyway.

Wondering if Abramova will be sent to IBU Cup.

The cooperation has barely started and they're already getting along well, this is promising :d

Also: my hotel for IBU Cup 2 in Lenzerheide has been booked, and it happens to be the same one as them, so that makes life easy. Now it's a matter of trying to find a place to stay in Livigno and Obertilliach and hoping I can indeed travel with them as planned (since a 2-3 hour car trip is definitely better than a 9-hour train/bus trip) :p

    • I don't think it's about the Crimea issue. It goes back to 2014, and then Russia started normally. At that time, the problem was organized doping. Another 3-4 years of a total ban for Russia and the sport there will completely collapse. Most of the current stars will either end their careers or go to other countries to compete (for now this think isn`t on a mass scale but I think that soon there will be a movement. For now, there is still waiting).
    • The Italian finally got up and finished the race. Today, the first junior gold for Italy since Ulissi in 2006-2007. Mark Lorenzo Finn won. In recent years, we have had gold medals in the men's U23 category: Battistella in 2019 and Baroncini in 2021. So far, however, these competitors havn`t met expectations. In my opinion, if we don`t have at least 1 Italian group at the WT level, it will be difficult to reach the results beginning of the 21st century. In 2005, when the Pro Tour (now World Tour) was created, Italy had 4 groups in this series: Lampre, Liquigas, Domina Vacanze and Fassa Bortolo. And yet we had very strong groups before: Mapei, Saeco, Mercatone Uno etc. Now we don`t have one
