Cancellation of all European events has been extended to April 11, at the earliest, due to the Equine Herpes Virus (EHV-1, neurological form) outbreak. The outbreak is getting out of hand with more and more stables reporting positives despite not having obvious contacts...

Basically, everyone still chasing minimum requirements for the Olympics is screwed.

  • 3 weeks later...

Karen Pavicic popping up in all kinds of articles these days. :d Last week she qualified for the Lovsta Challenge Finals, which are scheduled for this weekend.

Lovsta Challenge is the newly established American version of the Louisidor Cup. And Louisidor Cup is a long-standing German national event, which arguably insures their global domination.

Damn... Karen Pavicic & Totem were going so well! They just needed their usual 7.7+ piaffe on the final centerline, but a break in the rhythm left them with an average of 7.3 and the final score of 71.315%.

Unfortunately, this piaffe error was enough to prevent a podium finish in the Lovsta Future Challenge Finals. 5th place, only some 0.4% off the bronze.

Kentucky Three-Day Event is a go, and it will be by far the biggest eventing competition to be staged since 2019.

Entries are in record numbers, and for this year a side CCI4*-S event has been introduced.

Drawn order for the CCI5*-L

Interesting first session.

Shout-out to :CAN Karl Slezak. He messed up all four flying changes, as probably expected, but really nailed everything else. Well done! This is the kind of test that has Olympic selection written all over it, provided he delivers in his preferred jumping phases.
