Qualification here is kind of by discipline.  There's C1, K1, and KX1.  We get one per gender, and it's either for K1 or KX1, but it gets re-allocated if we qualify directly.  We can earn one quota per gender per discipline.  Also, there's the potential for our qualifier for K1 to compete in KX1, depending on max entries per event.  But I'll save that for 2028.

 

In the meanwhile, here's where we can earn quotas:

1) Olympic Ranking - 3 Oct 2027

2) PanAm Qualification Series - 2028

3) Last Chance Global Qualifier - Later 2028

 

In 2024, we only had 1 athlete per gender.  We'll see how we do this year!
