Joined here after becoming an athlete myself, currently boxing (amateurly) and fencing (foil and epee, training to compete in my nationals and the Maccabia). Not sure if these forums are a place to meet other fencers, but I am glad to find like-minded people. -

Eh, I guess. If it's just a blood test (like the one taken to detect doing), I hace no objections. I still think the ban should be on a per-sport basis with the decision of the sport's parent organization, since gender differences matter much less in certain sport than in others. Just my two cents. -

I just can't believe how mentally fragile is Michela Battiston entered the last assault of the team event's quarterfinal match against with a 5-hit advantage and Battiston was truly thrashed by Mikhailova with a 9-0 run to go from 36-40 to the final 45-40 -
