We're nearing the end of the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics. How do you feel now after 89 events of non-stop action and emotions?

Not a great Games for Canada, but at least we pulled it out in hockey today. Some competitions (freeski big air) are amazing, but some are not (slopestyle today). A lot of the ice events are hindered by having terrible ice, which affects the competition. Not a lot of fun underdog stories, a lot of predictable results. It's okay, but not very exciting. Positively, the images are great and everything seems to be running as smoothly as possible. The crowds are lots of fun.

I think I'll go with 8 this time. Brazil did very well in all sports, except for the girl in Alpine Skiing who, from what I've read, is a DNF magnet. Even so, it's our first participation in Women's Alpine Skiing in years.

 

As for the organization, honestly, some things have disappointed me, the way they're handling unforeseen events...

6- As opposed to 8 last time, I feel 6 is a fair reflection of how the last few days went. As a neutral I found the scheduling absurd there is a long pause with literally nothing on the programme & then suddenly we will have 2-3 medal events cramped together in a short session. Then come atrocious weather condition in some of the events, surely they could have moved an event forward/after depending on forecast. We even had an entire full run of a final medal event cancelled! Only for the weather to get better an hour later. I am still enjoying the games & performances but those few things made me to downgrade my rating from last time.
