Oh come on, I know most of the users on this forum like to be pessimistic (understandable, I do too ), but Berger-Sabbatel is just as good as Smith/Sherret/Maier. Hoffos is no contest for those four (six if Thompson/Naeslund were here), she's in the next tier with Galli and Phelan.

That's why I don't get excited about the Italians' successes in the World Cup, because then the World Championships come and we're left with nothing - for years there's been one Deromedis and that's it.

Looks like Sherret injured herself, our team can't catch a break... Schmidt, Thompson, and Phelan are all out for the same reason, that's our top four women. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
