I dont know why Brazil never try to host this, its not like hosting de football world cup and we already have the infraestructure.

 

The public would be a succes and FBV is very rich.

Perhaps, but I don't see much collaboration between Brazil and Argentina happening in the sports field. And I also don't think Argentina would have the slightest intention of hosting a volleyball world championship.

In 2002 World Champ. was in Argentina.

Why not France, Germany in Europe? For example, France together with Germany or Italy + now Bulgaria can join, like in 2018, but not only Poland.

Do you remember the 2017 World League final? That they hosted the competition in a soccer stadium? Maybe we could see a volleyball match at the Maracanã again.

Another point I would like to raise:

Do you agree with the world championship being held every 2 years? Isn't loosing its prestige in such case?

There is also nations league, so too many world competitions

I remember who went to volleyball matches in Poland around 2000, and who goes now. 20-30 years ago to be people who knew this sport, but now it's mostly celebrities and so-called "Sunday fans" or "Janusze" in polish slang-. For example: a young lady might go to a match, take a selfie and post it on Instagram because it's trendy at now + the embarrassing music in Polish arenas- it's like a picnic rather than a major sports event.

It's complicated because after an Olympic year, we have a lot of teams changes. Naturally, this can lead to lower-level tournaments than we'll see in 2027.

 

In the women's competition, Brazil, China, the USA, Serbia, and Japan had a lot of changes to their teams. Probably only Italy, Turkey, and Poland remained unchanged.

The men's competition also saw Poland, Brazil, Japan, the USA, and Slovenia try out many new players.
