I agree to you and i added: the food and beds for the athletes, the absence of air-conditioning, what happen with Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce......

Like argentinian, i never see what happen with the hostility of the public against our athletes in every single sport (may be the only exception was Torres who wins the gold in BMX freestyle), i didnt see that in any South American, Panamerican or Olympic Games before (including Rio), ok, the french are mad with our football team (is not the same team like Henry says but is the same sport), but with all the rest the same?.

I added: the web side is the best i can remember.

The argentinian performance: an average olympic one.

Re: the attitude to Argentina - I don't have anything against Argentina (I am not French anyway), but I think we can agree on that Villaruel did not help.

Don't know absent that the french would have been soo hostile anyway (it might be)

Someone from France could add whether this hostility would have happened anyway (even without Enzo Fernandez et al chanting the stupid fan song) or when it escalated:

After the Fernandez video, or after Villaruel publicly reivindicated them, insulting France in the process.

Wow, you know Villarruel (i dont expect that from nobody outside Latin America), she use politically the situation knowing that the mayority of the people dont have the perception to make nothing wrong (be or not be like that)

The coach of our rugby team says: he never lived something like this hostility, even their familys were insulted in the streets of Paris.

i Hope all this matter with France finish quick but i dont think it will happen.

To be honest I follow Argentina news in Spanish (mostly interested in what happens to Argentina's economy)

Ok, iif i have to give someone here the award of "more shocking thing i have ever read in totallympics", sure it will for you.

You can imagine, like argentinian, is a duty of "self preservation" to be updated with our mad economy.

Organization: 5-6

Main problems: Seine sh!tshow (I hope Hidalgo and all the political figures who put their political interests above athlete welfare are happy now that they managed to send at least 10 athletes to hospital courtesy of their grand plan - well this is way less than the number of those sacrificed to build the pyramids they could say)

Really ? There's people that take seriously the fact that there's risk of sickness by bathing in the Seine ? Moreover for athletes ?

When the heath authorities put a limit for things like e-coli they study when the people start to show signs of sickness for most fragiles and divide by ten for security.

Can you give the name of the athletes in hospital that did not excuse of accusing water quality because they were in fact infected by covid ?

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
    • Ya but the replacement is Pat Bondi, a choice that is only better in so far as Pat Bondi isn't credibly accused of having had sex with multiple underaged girls.   Also, you might recognize this name: Pete Hoekstra has been nominated to be the US ambasador to Canada.
    • Camila Giorgi has a new BF Ramiro Marra. Apparently he's some politician/journalist from Argentina. One of Milei's supporters dare I say? @LDOG@konig
    • Skeleton Tour moves on to Yanqing  this weekend.  Asian Cup races tomorrow, then the World Cup on Saturday, and then possibly more Asian Cup next weekend before everyone moves over to Altenberg for the start of the full Skeleton / Bobsleigh tour again.
    • 2-1.   But it's good to have a great champion in the squad. I've been waiting for this my whole life. I wish we had such stars in every sport.
    • But he beat Mouat, who seems to be almost unbeatable
    • Argentina has a really solid lineup, especially if they have prepared seriously for this event. Of course they don't have a champion like we do, but in this format it is enough to win 1 match to play the decisive doubles.
    • Today we must to beat Argentina. It looks like Sinner will have to win all the singles and doubles for us to defend the title. So far, the 2nd and 3rd favorites before the tournament have already been eliminated: Esp and USA.
