If you’re talking about Warner, he’s well off his Tokyo marks so far so I wouldn’t consider it an excellent start for him. 
 

Neugebauer is right around his PB’s though, glad I picked him as the gold medal winner on my prediction contest.

Excellent was a bit too positive, yeah. Decent, is better. Not great, not terrible, mostly due to a mediocre long jump. Neugebauer was the big favourite going in and so far that hasn't changed yet, but Warner should still be the prime favourite for silver. Fight for bronze is wide open.
