The olympic spirit has been raped a long time ago. I said it before, for me the best format in all team sports would be knock-out system, without those group stage shits, then there would be no calculating and everybody would have to go 100% in all matches.

The fairest system would be the one where all 12 teams would face and each other. That's the only way to find out which team is the most prepared one.

Well yes, but then Olympics should last much longer, no way that eg. handball players could play 11 matches in 2 weeks.
