    • Doesn’t feel like it for me either, winter started for me back in late September/early October (first event was the Pointsbet Invitational in curling), and ends midway through June (NHL Stanley Cup Finals)    For me, it’ll probably be midway throughout the winter season in late January.
    • Koki Ikeda (race walking) provisionally suspended for bio passport issues.   https://apnews.com/article/doping-walking-ikeda-japan-42dc6360c605072a5b95e356d06aa6e5
    • Entering the middle? It doesn't feel like Winter sport season until the second week of November for me  The middle of the season comes around Wengen and Kitzbuhel.
    • Something you do not see often Kutaisi intentionally tried to not win a match twice in regular time and 2 following extra times and in all 3 times failed   They were supposed to win by 7 points at least to keep their chance to qualify in Eurocup competition alive, so when they could win by 2 they decided to not   That was hilarious I recommend to watch both the ends of 4 quarter and both Extra times
    • Yesterday was the anniversary of the highest ever football score   75 own goals scored in 1st half
    • Crazy programme for Glenn, from space Definitely the best short programme of the season so far.   78.18, new American record! (NorthAm record was sooo close)
    • Starting the buildup to the European Cross Country Championships next month.  The English National Relays will apparently be featuring contenders for Team GB.  FTA on YT.
    • What I'd give simply for the world juniors and such to even be back at Eurosport...those were the days
    • it's not difficult when you have such a strict policy to enter or leave the country. Or when you have a dictator that can mask number as he wish, if he can convince their people that a highly censored and restrictive land can host a competition like the Olympic Games, i'm sure he can convince no covid case was detected.   One fun fact is that their guards and border control officers were very serious and strict with people from other nationalities when entering the country, but with us it was very different, they would look at our passport with serious face, look at the country, look at us, start smiling and say "Portugal?? Cristiano Ronaldo!!!!"   This behaviour happened in every single checkpoint in every single Central Asia land. It's like a vip pass in this area of the world
    • I still remember watching the World Junior Championships in Moncton when ES was hyping her unbeaten streak of 100+ races or whatever the number was and she promptly came 2nd in 200m
