No second quota in women's TT

Derek Gee finished 17th in the men's time trial, securing us a 2nd quota (in the event) for Paris! 10th ranked NOC, and only three seconds clear of Germany. Just squeaked in.

What happened to carter woods in the men’s under 23 . I thought that was a locked up quote for Canada ?

Woods was ranked #20 in the world (at the start of the race), and was the #1 U23, so pretty surprising to see him not secure the quota/fail to make the podium. A terrible start pretty much put him out of it (He was dead last at one point and still managed to fight back to finish in 11th). We should still qualify at least one male athlete, possibly two if we can pass both Great Britain and South Africa.

Caught among the bikes, and with the track being extremely narrow there wasn't much room for passing early on. By the time the riders were more spread out, the lead group was long gone.

Dont think Canada will get 2 spots. Woods should still be the favourite for the one quota however
