2019 Championships Results

 

Men's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 20 World Championship 2019

 

Men's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 20 Division I Group A World Championship 2019

 

Men's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 20 Division I Group B World Championship 2019

 

 

Tournament Format

 

6 Nations play a usual Round-Robin tournament, Each team play once every opponent,

 

The first ranked Nation will qualify for the Men´s Under 20 Top Division World Championships next year in 2021.

 

The Nations ranked 2nd-5th will stay in this Men´s Under 20 Division I Group A World Championships also for the next season

 

and The last ranked (6th) Nation will be relegated to the Men´s Under 20 Division I Group B World Championships next year

Enormous surprise. Austria just won against Latvia 2-1 and is right now only one match (against Slovenia) from an absolutely unexpected and shocking promotion to the top division !!! :woot:

      It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.

      Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
