    • The IOC could fall apart over 2028 and the possibilty of countires being banned (Including maybe China), Who knows how that will go.
    • Why is Iran still playing qualifying. They not going ti be let in the USA to play if they did make it.
    • I bet it ends up not being in Brisbane.
    • They might not be any games. The IOC relationship with Trump is poor and if he bans some countires from entering the IOC might say - bye bye- contract breached. .
    • I'm originally from Eastern Canada, and before moving to Washington I lived seven years in Texas.   I do not have any explaination for Pornhub search popularities. I'm not vanilla enough to be "with it", so to speak.   If anything I'm a bit surprised to see Transgender be this relatively high in Washington, normally on that kind of map you see it more in the South where it's more "transgressive". In Western Washington, anyway, being trans or otherwise gender noncomforming isn't something that people generally make a big deal out of.
    • Ah you're from Washington? Explain this    https://x.com/MarioNawfal/status/1855282147772231754?t=JLuhT61mmPS0bka9vAdX2w&s=19
    • Unrelated, but I don't feel all that bad about the extend to which I predicted this election wrong.   It turns out I live and vote in the only state that went more for Harris than for Biden. So I did, in fact, have a pretty good pulse on the public opinion in my state. It's just that Washington state was moving one way and the rest of the country was moving the opposite direction.
    • This reminds me that I've actually not heard anything from Rachelle Maddow since she made a podcast series about Spiro Agnew last year. I've actualy not even heard what her take on the election is.   Millenial and Gen Z liberals are pretty disconnected from what goes on on cable news tbh. Of all the mainstream media figures John Oliver probably has the best pulse on what the left of center Millenials think and feel, based on my experience with a *lot* of left leaning Millenials (I don't know all that many Gen Zers persoanlly so less comfortable commenting on them).
    • I hope so, but i don't know, we will see if those videos will die down or double down in the next months before january 6th
