2022 Championships Results

 

Women's Ice Hockey IIHF Division I Group B World Championship 2022

Women's Ice Hockey IIHF Division II Group B World Championship 2022

 

 

Tournament Format

 

Sadly, Only 5 Nations will compete in this Tournament, :PRK once again announced its withdrawal from this year edition.

As this time North Korea can not excuse the non-participation by some "Force-Majeur" reason, PRK will very likely this time automatically being relegated next year

 

The remaining 5 Nations will contest a Classic Round-Robin Format Tournament, Every team will play once against each opponent.

 

The 1st Ranked Team will qualify for the next year Women´s Division I Group B World Championship,

 

The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Ranked Nations will stay in this category also for the next edition.

 

The 6th Ranked Nation (North Korea - Pending final official confirmation from IIHF) will be Relegated to the next year´s Women´s Division II Group B World Championship.
