Looks like some of the classes were already divided to gold and silver fleets yesterday. This means that only a few nations have a chance for quotas now.

Men's Laser - :CZE:RUS:SLO:GRE are in gold fleet, everyone else out (Moldova :()

Women's Laser Radial - :HUN:ESP:POR:RUS:GER:POL:SUI are in gold fleet

Men's 470 - :POR:ITA:UKR:BEL are in gold fleet

Women's 470 - :ISR:TUR:FIN:EST:ITA are in gold fleet

Men's 49er - only :SWE is in gold fleet meaning that they secured the quota

Men's RS:X - :CRO:BLR:CZE are in gold fleet meaning that Croatia and Czech Republic should be unofficially qualified

Women's RS:X - no one is in gold fleet so the battle continues in silver fleet among :HUN:SWE:TUR:GER:LAT

The situation is now a bit clearer, with only 2/3 races remaining for tomorrow. On Saturday there will be only medal races.

EUROPE

Men's 470 - :UKR (Italy is 3 points behind, so Ukrainians have lost their big advantage, Portugal is 27 points behind)

Women's 470 - :ISR (with a big advantage over Finland and Estonia)

Women's 49er FX - :FIN (with a decent 26 points advantage over Austria)

Men's Finn - :TUR (Czech Republic is 5,5 points behind, Russia 7, Portugal 23, Spain lost its chance)

Men's Laser - :RUS:CZE (but Greece is much closer after today, so maybe there is a chance, though not a big one)

Women's Laser Radial - :HUN:POR (Switzerland and Spain are 12 and 13 points behind Portugal, respectively)

Mixed Nacra 17 - :GRE (Russia is 6 points behind, Norway 11, Sweden 31)

Men's RS:X - :CRO:BLR (Czech Republic is 7 points behind Belarus)

Women's RS:X - :HUN (Sweden is 19 points behind)

AFRICA (everything is decided)

Men's Finn - :SEY (Seychelles will stay ahead even if they don't compete in tomorrow's races and Tunisia wins both of them...)

Mixed Nacra 17 - :TUN

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
