He’s also represented Canada multiple times in international competition, including the Olympic Qualifying Tournament for Tokyo where he was one of the top scoring players  

 

Its not just you, but I’m not sure I get the “he and the Warriors are thinking of excuses, he doesn’t want to participate” argument. Also, if you read the CBC Sports article, GM Rowan Barrett has actually said “this was a team decision, not an Andrew decision” and that he’s been training for weeks and weeks to get ready for training camp and eventually the Olympics.

I agree with you, Kerr doing that was a shitty move. Wiggins was ready to compete for Canada, and the Warriors just said nope you’re not doing that anyways. Could also potentially be for his trade value, they’ve been shopping Wiggins a lot recently.
