Italy was the first main team to start in the relay and they used that perfectly to take the World Cup win and European title :d (the track was melting and there basically were lakes on the track, even the Germans had no real chance :p )

That's too harsh. Italians had a very good weekend in Oberhof (Voetter in particular, who posted one German-alike start time in womens race...).
