After defeating United States in the last group A round robin session, :CHN qualifies directly for the semifinals, as both teams finish 6-1. :USA and :JPN (same record as Sweden at 5-2, but Japan won the H2H) are off to the qualification games.

After one run in men’s giant slalom (alpine skiing), here’s the current standings. 

 

:SWE Liam Liljenborg is the current leader (48.54), with :FRA Nash Huot-Marchand in provisional silver (48.88), and :SWE Elliot Westlund in provisional bronze (49.21)

 

Further behind, but not completely out of reach of the podium are :GBR Zak Carrick-Smith in 4th (49.22), :AUT Leon Hafner in 5th (49.32), :POL Stanyslaw Sarzynski in 6th (49.58), :AUT Florian Newmayer in 7th (49.80), :ITA Edoardo Simonelli in 8th (49.93), :ITA Jonas Feicher in 9th (49.95), and :GER Benno Brandis in 10th (50.02)
