You sold it like it was 50.

Ever considered to be a car salesman? :p

Considering not long ago there was a handful, this is quite a lot :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Nice winner :woohoo:

Too bad Bruna slipped away again and again (including having to go back 20 meters after going off-track) on the very, very icy snow where there was no grip whatsoever. She just suddenly realized yesterday she's qualified for the world champs though, so no pressure anymore :d

Ah, she gets the fabulous 140.80 points. :p

Fascinating to see a Thai with a Polish surname competing in Chile.

This should help lower FIS points for races in Brazil a little :p

And about the Thai, I'm guessing some connection with a German, to add some more randomness :d

I'll ask, now I'm curious.

Looks like a Thai married to a German with a Polish name who lives in the USA...

Yay, the ice of yesterday in Chile has become....even more icy. The idea to change today's distance race to a sprint was rejected, now it's a matter of hoping everyone survives this way too dangerous course without major injuries..

    • There is a saying to never trust a Russian in gymnastics. Well, ex-Russian turned Bulgarian Elvira Krasnobaeva is transferring now to Armenia.   The "official" reason is for personal, family matters, but in reality it's most likely because she wasn't selected for Paris, which angered her parents. Even though she is only 16, had her breakthrough just this year and started making mistakes, when they amped up the difficulty.   Our Federation's President Iliana Raeva said today, that she received calls also from France and Azerbaijan about Elvira's mother basically auctioning her. Raeva mentioned, that Krasnobaeva was going to be a vocal point in the next Olympic cycle, but now she can hit the road and missed her chance to ever compete for Bulgaria, even if she wanted to in the future.    We are also going to make a new Group from next season. After the disappointment in Paris, 4 out of the 5 girls announced their retirement.
    • true, but was expecting India to get troubles from Australia, not from New Zealand, and specially not by being bowled out. Makes the group phase interesting though
    • The 4th best team in the world beating the 3rd best team in the world is not a huge surprise though.
    • I’ve been recently introduced by some friends to cricket (or the t20 version of it, at least) and actually liked it so I’m following the World Cup that’s happening during this month
