Badminton BWF World Championships 2018

#3 seeded, Boe and Mogensen, is out of the tournament, not really that surprising. No convincing results in the last months and they didn't had the best preparations for the WCH.

Also #8 seeded, Astrup and Rasmussen, is out. Defeated by an unseeded :MAS pair. Not the best tournament for our men's doubles. Last hope is #6 seeded Conrad-Petersen and Colding :cheer:

Btw congratulations to :TPE and :MAS :cheer:

Next up for Marin is Saina in her eighth straight QF. Hopefully, Saina would be able to win her 3rd WC medal

Well our biggest hope for a medal, :DENVictor Axelsen, the defending world champion, is out. He lost to #8 seeded :CHNChen Long.

Early today, #4 seeded  :DEN Christiansen and Pedersen lost to #5 seeded :CHN Zhang and Li.

The last Danish pair/players at WCH :DENConrad-Petersen and Kolding play later today against #2 seeded :CHNLiu and Zhang. :fingers:

Time to say goodbye to the last Danish pair/players at WCH :DENConrad-Petersen and Kolding. They we're defeated by #2 seeded:CHN Liu and Zhang in three sets (21-13,14-21, 21-18).

A bit disappointing WCH for the Danish team. We hoped for 1 or 2 medals, but goes home empty-handed.

This also means there is only one European player left at WCH :ESPCarolina Marín. Vamos Carolina! :ESP:cheer:

Hopefully she will continue her great play. Good luck to Carolina and @Cobi :fingers:

Japan

Japan is secured 6 medals at this WCH. Two more than last year in Glasgow, and most medals Japan has ever won at a WCH! :bowdown:
