Thats so weird.... the only skateboarder wrong on my counts is Ryan Decenzo :CAN

He is out and in his place qualified Jhancarlos Gonzalez :COL

Decenzo had 13160 points before the competion... he finished on 15th place, so more 7140 = 20300

Gonzalez had 11971, he finished 14th place, so more 7930 = 19901.

Why is he qualified and, Decenzo not?

One nation can qualify 12 (!) skateboarders for the Olympics? :yikes: I thought there were only going to be one men's event and one women's event..

wow, so it´s not a fake news then. Great :d How many will exactly qualify and how many per country ?

Expand

20 in each event.

Top 3 in World Championship, 16 from world rankings plus 1 from host nation.

Must be 1 competitor from each continent so Africa will probably take the place of the 16th in the world rankings.

Maximum 3 from each country

A guy from Košice won yesterday a "apparently according to our medias something like a World Cup stage" event in Paris :yikes: Never heard about him, never heard anything about this sport in SVK and never heard anything about this competition...but local medias are trying to persuade me that he can "has a shot" to qualify for the Olympics in Tokyo.

I don't know how accurate these rankings are but if you remove the extra Americans and Brazilians he would be 14th in the rankings and qualify for Tokyo

    • So 5 of Australia's top 6 current WTA players were not born in Australia. Only Gadecki was.   At least Birrell lived most of her life there and Joint has an Australian parent. Even Saville at least eventually married an Aussie even though when she first got citizenship it was a total joke.   Tomljanovic and Kasatkina playing for Australia is so weird. Also it's quite pathetic a country like Australia, with so many resources for tennis, has to keep naturalizing players because they can't produce their own talents...
