I am not that disappointed because we got what we wanted from these Games, 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze is the same as Tokyo. I am fine with this. Hopefully we will win our first women's sabre medal in LA.

Jesus Christ, my poor nerves. My poor fucking nerves. Finally a Hungarian team gold in fencing, after so, so many years.

The Hungarian epee team is finally fencing as they should. We got two World champions in that team and the third ranked fencer just got a 4th place in the individual tournament. On paper this should be the best team in this discipline. And now we beat 45-30  and 45-30 . Please, let this be our day, we have waited sooo many years for a team gold in fencing.

That was an acceptable defeat and a great silver medal. There weren't any doubts about the Korean gold, they are clearly ahead of everyone else atm.

Silver was always the best case scenario in men's sabre so I will take this as a massive win. I doubt that we have any chance against Korea. They are as strong as ever and we struggled against Italy and Iran. I think it will be a one-sided final.

Btw, Szilágyi is injured. I am not sure if he will be able to complete three matches like this.

I didn't see this one coming at all, I thought the US might win the gold. I have no idea what to think about this. We should win against Iran but they are obviously dangerous.

With the way things are going, I expecting a Hungarian defeat against Italy. I don't believe in us at all.

Well, it couldn't get any harder than this for us, beating Balzer and Kharlan will be extremely difficult. That first ever Hungarian women's sabre medal is sure proving to be hard to earn.

Márton v Pusztai in the R16. Both Hungarians are looking good, sadly only one of them can reach the Top8.
