Welcome to Serbian club!

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

as promised, here is the "club" where all the Serbian users can discuss about all sports with fellow Serbian users in Serbian language. Ideally, the club will take the place of the SerbiaNational Thread, so that you can have more threads and also sub-sections.

I will now invite here all the Serbian users, once you join the club you will see the link of the club in the navigation bar and at the top of each page.

Two important things:

1) I need one user who will be the "owner" (a sort of "admin") of the club. It is not a big thing and no time commitment is required, you will just take decisions like which sections and threads to have, update the sections' descriptions, translate the sections' names etc. Who wants to have this role? :d

2) Club's name: You can talk here or open a poll about the name and once you have decided it I will change the name of the club. In the while, I have named it with a neutral "Team Serbia", but of course it is provisional and when you have a name you will let me know and I will change it.

Let's make this club active in the next weeks when the first qualification events for Paris 2024 will start! :SRB

    • basically...   - excessive workload in training - coaches being extremely rude, often abusing athletes (for instance, volleyball legendary coach Karpol was famous for beating the girls who weren't playing/training according to his very high standard...but the worst things always happened in gymnastics, swimming and other sports where the "medal projects" were very young girls) - truly humiliating punishments (normally, in front of the training group as an example) for those who were making too many mistakes - total control over the athletes' life, also over the private and most intimate aspects

    • Of course I know you know the rules as you initiate this thread. Just because your lecture tone and treating china's opponents idiots and forcibly and passively accept the status quo makes me laughable.
    • I think your comment might be clouded in bias. First of all, I don’t appreciate that you’re trying to tell me I don’t know the rules of curling, especially considering I most probably watch it and understand it more than you do, but thanks. I’m a member of a few curling forums/sites and they all generally agree with me. No, the Chinese team knew what they were trying to do on this instance. And even if they weren’t, it’s happened way too many times now to be looked at as an “accident” (that kicked rocked in the Germany game was blatant, and they were still denying it), I’ve noticed it twice already and I’ve probably missed some of the other infractions. Could be because of the favourable outcome, or maybe it was to avoid further arguments. Even if was the first one, choosing to accept the result still doesn’t cancel out China’s cheating.    Maybe the other users who frequently watch curling can share their thoughts down below though, I’d love to get more viewpoints on it.
