Good morning and welcome ladies and gentlemen! It is a honour to host the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2018 Grand Final! We hope this will be a great day of fun and we bet all the participants are very excited to see the votes. Without further ado, let's start the day with the voting of the home nation, Brazil!

The Grand Final will start in about 20 minutes. Just some things to remember: Voting order and schedule was posted at the first post of this thread HERE. I won't be breaking ties in the Provisional Top 5 table. If two (or more) nations have the same score, they will be listed in alphabetical order - so if some nations share the provisional 5th place, only the first one in the alphabetical order will be at the table. Only by the end of the contest tiebreakers will be used (if necessary). Until Vote 32, Team Challenge tables will be updated each time a Team ends its 3 turns of power-play. HERE are the Team Challenges rules.

After a night of music and celebration, it's time to end the ceremony with the lighting of the TISC Flame. And for such occasion, the Organizing Committee is proud to invite TISC president @OlympicIRL - for who the contests owes a great deal. Without him, We're sure things wouldn't be the same! With beautiful fireworks, we say goodbye to the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2018 Opening Ceremony, but also make an invitation for the Grand Final tomorrow at the Olympic Park. Continuing with the South American theme this night, the Organizing Committee is proud to finally unveil the logo for the Totallympics Annual International Contest 2018. The main figure for this logo, the arara-vermelha (Red-and-green macaw) is a large species widespread in the forests and woodlands of northern and central South America, especially in Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. However - in common with other macaws - there has been a decline in its numbers due to habitat loss and illegal capture. With the use of its image here at the logo, we hope to raise awareness to this fact, but also celebrate its beauty. In the logo, the bird is combined with musical waves (to bring a music element) that also resembles the Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio. Ladies and gentleman, the official logo of TISC 2018:

As the first ever Totallympics Contest held in South America, nothing more natural that having a segment paying homage to our friends of Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela present at this year's contest (and Chile, Guyana and Uruguay, which all participated in the past), but also the people from Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Suriname. For this south american portion, we invited Uruguayan singer and songwriter Jorge Drexler to perform the beautiful song Al Otro Lado del Río from the movie The Motorcycle Diaries, for which he won the Oscar back in 2005.
