  3. Not exactly IOC but.. I´ll put it here Anton Siekel was elected again as NOC president for the next Olympic period (until Paris 2024) Danka Barteková (Shooting - Skeet, current athlete), Miroslav Šatan (SVK Ice Hockey legend, most caps, most goals etc...nowadays SVK Ice Hockey federation president) and Peter Korčok (Athletics Federation president) were all elected as our NOC vice presidents Anastasiia Kuzmina (Biathlon retired legend and only female to win 3 olympic gold medals at 3 consecutive WOG in this sport), Matej Tóth (Athletics Race Walking former olympic champion), Zuzana Rehák-Štefečeková (Shooting-Trap, our only Tokyo gold medalist) or Jozef Gonci (Shooting, first ever slovak olympic medalist since the independence) are among the SVK NOC elected Commission members.
  4. Igor Polanski officially banned for 3 years due doping (EPO). He was also subsequently expelled from the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, where he finished 43rd. They also removed the ROC mixed relay from the 14th place in the result list. I am not going to start about the fact ITU invited him through realloction quota instead of Richard Varga (who was 1st under the line) only to form the mixed relay team... Karma is a bitch
  5. team (or the major party of the team) decided to boycot the Lech/Zuers only Parallel GS stage of the season to show FIS their dissatisfaction with current rules in this discipline.
  6. and there still more and more new information coming. New identified members of "ultras" groups from other clubs Ruch Chorzow and Krakow and Brno. Apparently it was an organized action ! Insane. some sources speak of a planned action between several "ultras" groups. they were originally supposed to meet and fight somewhere in an abandoned meadow or something like that. in the end they chenged decision and decided to fight right during the match because our laws are completely benevolent and backward (no real experiences with hooliganism), so when they can't do it at home, they came to fight in Slovakia. Insane. our parliament has already met and is resolving the situation by changing the law. the football federation and the disciplinary commission will meet and try to find new safety rules tomorrow.
  7. The investigations have revealed that the majority of the idiots on the pitch were actually foreign fans !!! Foreign ! I mean why would any foreigner even be interested about watching a SVK league match Fans ehm, rather let say morons from Katowice, Banik Ostrava and Austria Wienna have been identified and will be charged

  9. Worst night of slovak football history. "Chicken brains" embarassed the country. Derby soiled by primitives.. some of the newspapers titles today
  10. Filip Polášek with 16th doubles pro tour title after winning alongside his new partner John Peers in Indiana Wells
  11. I just saw in our national tv sports news that the Slovak federation has no National Team(s) seniors/juniors M, W etc.. from today. The federation decided unanimously to dissolve all Slovak National Teams (Representatives) From the next season if anyone will be interested to represent the country he/she will have to meet strict criteria on indoor rowing and on the water. Federation officials do not expect anyone to be able to meet the set criteria next year.
  12. SVK league match Trnava - Slovan has been interrupted after 13 minutes of play....

  16. lol As always when we play for nothing. we simply for some reason ruin the evening for the opponent Fun fact: Except Russia, we drew with all teams of our group, and but in other hand good training and preparation for the EURO 2024 qualifiers
  17. Osrblie has the A license for the next 4 seasons, this is not a problem, the issue is money to buy a stage and time when the stage will have to be, there simply no room for Osrblie to host the world cup, last time it was in 2003, as all nine stages are occupied by almost the same locations year after year....
  18. It would be better if Osrblie will have the chance to finally host also a world cup. I feel like the venue is year after year trying to get some plus points in the eyes of IBU by its non stop replacing other venues in the Ibu cup policy, but somehow will never be rewarded...
  19. I guess Landlocked pirates are a bit different
