Medzinárodná lyžiarska a snoubordingová federácia FIS a Medzinárodný olympijský výbor v rámci prerozdelenia kvót pridelila jedno miesto slovenským skokankám na lyžiach. Tamara Mesíková Riaditeľ športového oddelenia Slovenského olympijského a športového výboru a vedúci výpravy na zimných olympijských hrách 2026 Roman Buček už pridelenú miestenku akceptoval.
  4. and now when it is official and they already cnfirmed it, they are so scared that they still did not anounce it to the general public yet
  5. Stage 23 in Kitzbuehel (AUT) Men´s Slalom: 1. Manuel Feller 1:40.60 2. Loic Meillard 1:40.95 3. Linus Strasser 1:41.13 Full Final Results HERE
  6. Still waiting for the official confirmation from our NOC. In the darkest backgrounds of the Slovak federation there something I just found. It appears we are trying to make a fishy move :D Apparently since the quota is for the country, we are trying a way to send both female we have, but not at the same time lol. Kira Mária Kapustíková for the Normal Hill and after her competition over, she may be replaced in our team by Tamara Mesíková who may compete in the Large Hill. Now, the question what will be the answer from FIS and IOC for that idea. I assume it will be a quick and precise NO
  7. Kapustíková had this night in Sapporo a hard crash after her jump So let´s hope she is ok first, if not we will send Tamara Mesíková then. Ayway, this is a great news,
  8. Stage 24 in Spindleruv Mlyn (CZE) Women´s Slalom: 1. Mikaela Shiffrin 1:37.59 2. Camille Rast 1:39.26 3. Emma Aicher 1:39.77 Full Final Results HERE

  10. and we very likely lost Erik Černák this night My Košice born "Drago" that would be a catastrophic weakening of our team
  11. Sure. An eventual medal would do a lot of good to the country right now, but I am afraid there bigger odds we will return empty handed than we will bring a medal home - Our biggest star did not compete for 2 years and god know only if she will even start here, plus with bib 19 or 20 is simply impossible to medal anyway - The hockey team let be honest stand no real medal chance against the full NHL squads, medals here are reserved to CAN, USA and very likely SWE - Biathlete, especially Fialková are maybe our darkest horse, but only and only if she will improve her shooting, which, based on her recent performances on the range is quite hard to imagine. Still in a great day she can bring a bronze in the Mass Start for example, she is definitely capable of.. but yeah, require 4 zeros at the range - Ski Mo, until last year was our safe medal. Not sure what happens during the summer, Big nations improved extremely, probably money resulting in better preprations and equipement improvement resulted that our Jagerčíková is still good but just can not keep the rhythm of the french and swiss of this season anymore.
