0 - 2 - 0
.Second Medal of the Games for Team Slovakia, Second Silver.
.The Girls Ice Hockey team lost in the Gold medal match to 1-4,
.A tense game which was still tied 1-1 after 40 minutes, ended deservedly in favor of our former federal partner. The czechs scored 3 more goals in the last period and closed the match.
.Slovak team led during the whole tourney by an extremely impressive super talented new jewel of our sport Nela Lopušanová (named MVP again, just like 2 weeks ago at the IIHF Womenś Under 18 World Championship in Sweden) ended this tournament in 2nd place and won Silver medal, A very unexpected but valuable medal, another enormous success and huge boost for our still only developing women hockey program.
.the second medal of our delegation in this EYOF.
The tournament MVP and best forward, 14 years old phenom Nela Lopušanová with 12 points for 6 goals and 6 assists pictured in one of her many shooting attempts in this EYOF. A competition she completely dominated, head and shoulders above everyone else
.Another pleasant result came today in the Mixed Snowboard Cross Team competition, where our pair Jakub Tomašák & Sara Pitoňáková grabbed a very precious 5th place. Already in the seeding run they surprised also themselves by posting the 2nd fastest time which catapulted them directly to the semifinal, where they ended a bit unlucky and crossed the line in 3rd place, which send them "only" to Final-B, which they won and ended classified in 5th rank.
.The Mixed Cross-Country relay finished 14th and Vanessa Šelmeková improved her position by 8 places after a failed short program in the Girls Figure skating competition with a clean and nice free skate to grab the final 16th place.
.The Ski-Mo participants were ranked from 22 to 24th place in the Individuals, and the best of our quartet in todays Boys Giant Slalom was Andrej Barnaš in 35th position.
