HC Košice won the whole tournament in Pardubice (the traditional Zbynek Kusý Memorial) after beating the local Czech team HC Dynamo Pardubice 5-3 in the Final. Way To Go guys ! This season we must win this freaking title we are missing 4 seasons now !

Problems in Women´s hockey NT The basically entire women´s Swedish top ice hockey players refused to join the national team's training camp due to lack of care and financial compensation from the national federation, after the team was relegated for the first time in nation´s history from top division last season. They are also considering the boycott of the upcoming international tournament in Finland. A total of 43 players refused the invitation for the preparation camp before the friendly tournament with Russia, the Czech Republic, Japan and host Finland.

Nowadays Modern Pentathlon is really stupid with all the "innovative improvements", The only and real Modern Pentathlon was the one that lasted full 5 days and the fencing part was traditionally the longest Olympic event which started before 08 AM and finished around midnight. All this bonus ranking points system, one day program and laser shooting + running combined etc...totally destroyed this marvellous sport. yeah I´m not urban, and I´m proud

Good start of preparation for my HC Košice winning today the first praparation match 5-4 over the Russian KHL participant Admiral Vladivostok with a hattrick from Marcel Haščák (3+1 today) and 2 goals from David Skokan. Way to go boys ! The team is led by new coach, the Czech born german legend Peter Draisaitl (yes, the father of the german super star Leon).

The new Slovak Extraliga season´s format has been announced. aaand The new season will start in a style ! The opening game will be a match between the two arch-rivals of slovak ice hockey scene, HC Košice vs Slovan Bratislava Slovan Bratislava decided to end their KHL participation and after loooooong 7 years will finally return and play the national championships in Slovakia. by this the new season will have 13 participating teams. 11 and 2 clubs Every team will play 48 matches (4 against every opponent - 2 at home, 2 away), since the number of teams is odd (13) in every daymatch round one club will have a rest day. After the first phase completed the teams will be divided into 2 groups. Upper Group of 1st-6th ranked and Lower Group 7th-12th Ranked clubs. For the last ranked 13th team the season will be over. In their respective groups every team will play 2 more matches against each opponent of it´s group (1 home and 1 away). And this will close the regular season. The teams of top 6 groups will be all qualified for the Play-Offs, while the remaining 2 spots will be battled in the Lower Group, the 7th and 8th will join them in the Play-Offs. Well, for us canoeing sprint is somehow always associated with K4. This was another proof about that. they have no shame to even safriying other athletes dreams just to ensure the K4 to being the strongest possible...but, well, who knows, maybe there also something else behind this decision we don´t see, relationships problems in the crew, who knows, we´ll probably never know that. Oh, I´m pretty sure, you´ll win the full amount of quotas already on the home water. Hungary and Germany is just another supperior level of sprint canoeing, there no discussions about that,

Right. But I do´t see them do it, they will focus on the K4 and avoid losing energy in other events. I was writing about Gelle, poor guy was literally sacrified few days before the worlds after preparing himself with Botek last couple of years for Tokyo K2-1000 (I stll think they would have a chance for medal in that event) now he had to re-focus in the singles on few days to try the impossible and win a quota in a event where only 5 guys will earn Olympic pass and having advantage because competing in K1 for some years.

They will not even qualify for the semifinals in Szeged lol It looks now we will qualify for Tokyo only the K4, the federation showed once again that all other classes are non-essential, vain and unnecessary for them... Let´s hope Ivana will somehow gain qnother quota in the W K1 to not be represented in Tokyo only in one event

Probably the only sport in which slovaks knows everything earlier than the rest of the world lol, Alfons Juck is one incredible capacity, this guy is a walking encyklopedia of athletics and he literally know every secret from the backstages of this sport, sometimes you have feeling like he has relationships with almost everyone more or less famous in this sport watching the athletics in our TV is a real pleasure, he always fulfill the coverage with so many informations. so when he said that Ireland will not be relegated nor Hungary because Belarus will host the next super league, I was sure he know what he is talking about on air in the whole Slovakia
