  1. Men's will be on field 1 at 11.45 Lahti time, women's at 13.00 on field 3.
  2. The men's and women's world flag football championships start today in Lahti, Finland. These are the first world championships of an Olympic event towards Los Angeles 2028. All matches (and all five fields) can be viewed for free on ifaf.tv and Olympic Channel, except in the United States. I'll try to figure it out now, but my track record with the classic variant is bad, as I always fell asleep from boredom during the superbowls
  3. Finally time for my first real intensive sports session after the Olympics US Open is here

  10. I saw so many rankings in my Europeanist social bubble about the EU winning the medal table (which was obvious), but they simply added up the medals won without taking into account the NOC limits. I decided to do some simulations, using the world rankings (or European/world rankings in some cases) as European trials, thus giving a lot of medals. Medal Table: 79 - 56 - 56 [191] 42 - 27 - 28 [097] 40 - 51 - 42 [133] 21 - 12 - 17 [051] 19- 24 - 21 [064] 15 - 29 - 29 [073] 13 - 10 - 14 [037] 12 - 08 - 06 [026] 09 - 08 - 16 [033] 09 - 01 - 05 [015] 05 - 02 - 05 [012] 04 - 04 - 08 [016] 04 - 02 - 05 [011] 04 - 02 - 01 [007] 03 - 08 - 18 [029] 03 - 06 - 04 [013] 03 - 05 - 04 [013] 03 - 03 - 02 [008] 02 - 03 - 05 [010] 02 - 02 - 04 [008] 02 - 01 - 06 [009] 02 - 01 - 02 [005] 02 - 00 - 06 [008] 02 - 00 - 02 [004] 02 - 00 - 01 [003] 02 - 00 - 00 [002] 02 - 01 - 01 [004] 01 - 05 - 01 [007] 01 - 03 - 05 [009] 01 - 03 - 02 [006] 01 - 02 - 04 [007] 01 - 02 - 02 [005] 01 - 02 - 02 [005] 01 - 02 - 01 [004] 01 - 02 - 01 [004] 01 - 01 - 02 [003] 01 - 01 - 02 [004] 01 - 01 - 00 [002] 01 - 01 - 00 [002] 01 - 01 - 00 [002] 01 - 01 - 00 [002] 01 - 01 - 00 [002] 01 - 00 - 02 [003] 01 - 00 - 01 [002] 01 - 00 - 00 [001] 01 - 00 - 00 [001] 00 - 05 - 06 [011] 00 - 03 - 05 [008] 00 - 03 - 04 [007] 00 - 03 - 02 [005] 00 - 03 - 02 [005] 00 - 02 - 04 [006] 00 - 02 - 04 [006] 00 - 02 - 02 [004] 00 - 02 - 00 [002] 00 - 01 - 01 [002] 00 - 01 - 00 [001] 00 - 01 - 00 [001] 00 - 01 - 00 [001] 00 - 01 - 00 [001] 00 - 01 - 00 [001] 00 - 01 - 00 [001] 00 - 00 - 03 [003] 00 - 00 - 03 [003] 00 - 00 - 02 [002] 00 - 00 - 02 [002] 00 - 00 - 02 [002] 00 - 00 - 01 [001] 00 - 00 - 01 [001] 00 - 00 - 01 [001] 00 - 00 - 01 [001] 00 - 00 - 01 [001] 00 - 00 - 01 [001] 00 - 00 - 01 [001] 00 - 00 - 01 [001]
