    Without going into details about other sports (don't want to spoil non-rowing things in the rowing thread, obviously), I somehow feel like every Olympics almost every country feels like it's going awful

    That won't be rescheduled because of one positive test in one boat Even if the whole team tested positive it wouldn't be rescheduled, they'd simply be out. Plus, he is replaced.

    Great, this has the potential to be a truly great session for the Dutch team, but Dutch public broadcaster NOS is still showing a sort of documentary about the quadruple sculls training the past 3 years. Because 'we want the story'

    I must admit, the men's final was definitely fun to watch The women's final not so much, mostly because Buitendag was basically not really doing anything until the very end when she wasn't going to make it up anymore..

    What happened? In the last gate I noticed she was close to the gate (well yeah she touched it) but passed it on the inside. Barely, like most..

    I was highly confident of this being no, easy choice for one of my 10 points....didn't think it was PFP causing it to be no 72 - Both Pauline Ferrand Prevot and Sina Frei will be on the podium in women's race.

    Less than two years after her very bad crash which made people wonder if she'd ever touch a bike again, she was in bad condition. Awesome that she takes the gold now

    One more lap - which is the lap they shortened the race with - and Vas would have taken bronze. Ok, with one more lap of course the Swiss in front of her might have divided their powers a bit differently as well, so it's not as easy as that
