  1. One gold and two silves after three events is actually a very good score. Especially considering in one event (women) gold would have been a surprise (you know, thanks to Lundby) and with Poland and Norway being generally stronger, winning one men's event is just really, really good.
  2. Cool! Maybe I'll rewatch on the Eurosport Player with German commentary
  3. Three hours of nothing (one hockey match that's about something), and now in a matter of minutes, speed skating, aerials finals, bobsleigh and biathlon all start Great!
  4. Thanks for giving me big bout of nostalgia back to the years of Friesinger and Wolf (and Gabrecht as well, Niemann was mostly before 'my time') How I miss the interviews with sweet Anni
  5. And Spain on the far right (middle)?
  6. Does ISSF have a results/program page for this? I'm lost on their website, which normally works pretty easy
  7. Right, time for a game of 'spot your nation'. A friend went on a little flag-spotting trip in the Village and made a couple of photos there in order for us to know a bit more about who's where Germany and Finland are together. Austria of course has a large part of a building, and it looks like both Greece and Cyprus are in the same one, a couple of floors above the Austrians? Poland is right above the Czech Republic, and I also see some Ukraine in there. I believe I see a Mexican flag and that of Belarus, but I'm not entirely sure. Great Britain has a big portion of a building as well, and it looks like a Swiss flag halfway? Which would be odd, surely the Swiss have a larger part? Iceland and I believe Denmark are up there, and Malaysia definitely found a home there as well. I also think I see Ghana there, but I'm not entirely sure. No secret which nation is here Eastern Europe has a building, with Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Lithuania and I believe Hungary. Not on the photo, but to the right should be, among others, the Norwegian home, as well as Mexico, Macedonia, India and Spain. Last, but certainly not least, @Gianlu33 and @hckosice, it looks like your countrymen kinda mixed things up, this is confusing Also Ukraine in between there.
  8. I'm not saying she's not the favourite
  9. Plus someone like Pechstein still being competitive is rather negative for the sport all around, since it shows absolutely no progress. I guess she'll medal in the mass start, which would be quite something noteworthy, but as a fan of the sport, that would be bad to see
  10. I'm still waiting for Klaebo to actually turn on the engine, I don't think Spitsov would have stood any kind of chance.
  11. Spitsov being buried 50 meters under the ground right there.
  12. Right, here we go! Whatever happens, this has been a lot better than expected
  13. Spitsov is challenging Klæbo, this is gonna be fun
  14. I swear I just saw Klaebo check his Tinder and swipe some to the left and to the right after checking out the people he saw at the stands.
  15. This is the pace in which Klaebo skis to the supermarket on a lazy Wednesday morning.
  16. So far this is a lot more fun than expected
  17. Fantastic relay by the French
  18. Not sure how it works in freestyle skiing or canoeing slalom, but here there is one rider who can actually hear the starting shot earlier, and there's a major difference between finishing outside or inside.
  19. Salvadori pulling a Jacobsen (although to be fair, that's not as embarassing for him);
  20. Since IOC/ISU wanted to actually turn the competition into something that's mathematically unfair, they've changed the format from 2 runs to 1, giving a random advantage to 50% of the field
  21. Meanwhile Switzerland is working hard on giving Canada their 4th loss in 5 games.
  22. By the way, what happens with a lost bet? I suppose when you spent 250 points you're starting at 0, and when you lose a bet you don't go into the negative, but that bet is scored as 0? (So for example if you spent 250 points, and every single bet is lost, you end up with 0 points and not with -250?) Not that it makes a difference, just curious
  23. "Weeee will we will lock you! Lock you!" in the background Sorry, but it sounded really funny
  24. This promises to be an exciting relay
  25. Yep, someone didn't pay attention there
