  1. Klaebo might be the best XC skier in the world.
  2. Nöckler can't keep up, as expected
  3. Yeah that's what I thought too, unless there was another moment before that which I didn't see.
  4. I saw that happen after the leading three were away already, didn't it..?
  5. Note to self: this goes high on the list of 2018 Olympics highlights, somewhere right under Ledecka's gold
  6. Mostly hoping he can keep the distance relatively small, and thinking about there not really being that much strong teams Well, if they don't make it, I still have a profit because I also bet on USA women on the podium.
  7. This has been confirmed?
  8. And we've got another scandal, this time in Korea! In the women's pursuit first round, Kim Bo-reum and Park Ji-woo are accused of not being enough of a team player. Noh Seon-yeong crossed the line last, 4 seconds behind them, so her time counted and they were out. Noh was crying afterwards, and instead of talking to her, Kim and Park basically ignored her and only coach Bob de Jong cared for Noh. Now a petition has been started, which has been signed by over half a million people, calling for Kim and Park to be kicked out of the team. Funny detail: a petition which has been signed by over 200k has to be discussed in parliament, so, here we go
  9. Considering she's 33, I'm surprised by that
  10. As long as they stay away from Luca Bormolini, he might be in Australia, but he belongs to #BiathlonTeam
  11. They'd miss a medal again then
  12. After 2.5km, hope for Australia is very much alive
  13. Right, now to hope and pray somehow USA, Finland, Sweden and Russia (such a balanced semi-final..) will all look at each other, make it a slow race, and Australia qualifies on time
  14. Nope, but Google Translate (Russian --> English) works surprisingly well considering not only grammar, but even the entire alphabet is completely different
  15. Personally I think of it in the same way as mass start in speed skating, but the exact opposite in terms of what should be different Mass start should be way longer to be taken serious. Team sprint should be way shorter to be taken serious (for example 6x500m, so you sort of have a double sprint, which makes more sense with two athletes).
  16. Nice bit of directing....Bischofberger and Leman were battling it out for the gold in the very last meters and the camera switched to Drury on his lonesome somewhere far behind
  17. Ugh, too bad this was the final.... (that fall in the beginning I mean)
  18. @hckosice I know you're of course sad about the Slovaks, but come on, let's raise a glass to your Czech brothers
