  1. Well, I'm afraid we cannot ignore the more and more coming news about ideas of introducing the e-sport into programme of the Olympics (maybe even in 2024). I'm interested in your opinion.
  2. I'm so happy for Zsófi's silver. I think everybody who knows her personally was keeping fingers crossed for her, even her rivals a little bit Well deserved after all those injuries.
  3. Of course, I don't say Laura has absolutely no chance. Especially that Özyüksel will start only five seconds behind her, they're gonna fight against each other and make each other run faster. Both with big chances for TOP8.
  4. I remember 77 seconds in Kremlin Cup 2013 - finished second, losing by just one second. But it was against Marques, not Schöneborn. I'd say today's podium will be Prokopenko, Schöneborn, Földházi.
  5. Two days ago I was talking with someone from UIPM (not brave enough to introduce himself with his name) who was trying to convince me that they made huge progress during last years and the proof is a partnership with Eurosport (which results in "delayed live" broadcast). I answered and wrote how big regress they made: Yesterday they finished live before medal ceremony of teams, in live results there was no information about it.
  6. I remember that finish against Oktawia Nowacka. So maybe now it'll be a chance for a revenge
  7. You've got bronze of Justinas, I guess Laura will get silver, if they start together in mixed they might get gold as they did in 2014 in Warsaw. Especially since last year's UIPM Congress decided to change the value of one swimming second - it's now two points (previously three points). You can see it during qualifications - when A group starts with fencing, the classification doesn't change a lot after swimming, when group B starts with swimming the classification changes dramatically after fencing. And another interesting thing - Poland with silver in team. With no athletes in TOP 15. And only 7 points of loss to golden Egypt, who had Hamad in 4th and Hamed in 6th. Koreans with only two finalist (third result taken to count from qualifications) with bronze. Tomorrow my fingers crossed for Maliszewska, but I hope Földházi get something individually at last - in last few years she had many injuries and had very few chances to win something, but she is really talented (she won her Senior ECH gold before Junior WCH gold in 2013).
  8. If he had turned Dutch, I'd be sure he's @heywoodu
  9. First time since 2011 I think (though I'm not sure) men's and women's relay not broadcasted live. Big announcement in January that Eurosport will broadcast the World Cup Final and World Champs - it appeared they are only broadcasting review... Shame, shame, shame.
  10. There's a change zone one the parcour - as the first rider finishes and arrives to it the second one starts (time is not stopped for the change of course).
  11. And Bob the Builder sleeped after yesterday's breaking leg in a fall... Tragic competition for us.
  12. Hoy eliminated, Carlile eliminated... It's gonna change the team classification a bit, isn't it?
  13. They said in the media centre, that the Germans' team result is the world record. I'm surprised that the result of Hoy isn't (or is it?).
  14. Check FIPM webiste. I posted it based on official document with qualification system.
  15. Modern pentathlon (in fact tetrathlon as youth athletes don't do horse riding) - European Qualification in Caldas da Rainha - three quotas per gender: Girls - Michelle Gulyás Laura Heredia Beatrice Mercuri Boys - Giorgio Malan Egor Gromadskii Kamil Kasperczak
  16. Correction for - due to injury of one of top horses (I don't know which one) there will be no Polish team "for it has no chance for good result" (official information of Polish Equestrian Federation). The only Polish pair will be Kaźmierczak on Stakorado.
  17. Best: 1. Win against Soviets in final of men's volleyball in Montreal 1976. 2. Kozakiewicz in Moscow 1980 (+Ślusarski with silver) 3. Gold of Kowalczyk in Vancouver after wonderful finish against Bjoergen. Worst: 1. Szewińska losing baton in Mexico 1968. 2. Fall of Seroczyńska on last turn at 1000 m in Squaw Valley as she was heading for gold and WR. 3. No gold for Małysz.
  18. Looking this way Germany is also Eastern as it's more Eastern than France. Just in case you forgot Berlin was an Eastern city too.
  19. Today I came back from Hungary. The tennis competition was terrible to follow - only the official site with final score of each game, no electronic scoreboards (only the manual one at the umpire's chair), one court out of nine had tribunes, all other were covered and you had to climb to see, what's behind the fence, no press info (I had to use the board for athletes). Great facilities at athletics (livescore on touchscreens for a half of a media tribune seemed to be enough for us), though volunteers somehow forgot to bring athletes from few events to the mixed zone. Fantastic atmosphere at judo, very little interest from media for the volleyball. Very nice people and a really good organisation (as for the city of Győr having public traffic quite complicated for people outside of the city).
  20. I think Hungary would rather use Hosszú in backstroke instead of butterfly, as they have Cseh and Kenderesi.
  21. Quotas for boys' Hockey5s from Europe go to Poland and France.
  22. Finished with 0:1 loss. It's a loss, but I think it's a great start for our girls. On Monday we play with England - another tough game, but after what I saw today I think we might fight for some surprise.
  23. With Netherlands as rival in QF you need to take 5th place.
