  1. much bigger upset also took place yesterday at Indian when :USA Vickery defeated Muguruza 2-1 , looks like Muguruza will keep her rhythm on doing only a big tournament per year and then

Yeah, Bertens and her three wins this year are a force to be reckoned with :p

Serena isn't in a good form yet , so even Bertens with her 3 wins this season can defeat her :d let's see , personally i want Serena to win as much as possible here

  3. Real Madrid delivered their biggest game this season and repeated the victory over PSG 2-1 in France , very big upset for PSG managament and ofc fans after spending 400 m euros this summer , the team also didn't manage to pass R16 in CL , now it's almost 100 % that Emeri will not continue his job after the end of the season , PSG needs much more experienced coach in UCL

  4. not optimistic at all , with our results after Rio , many sports aren't participating in international tournaments as before , thanks God we have Karate where we used to be good at , so i can say 5 medals would be great for us , Karate and Weightlifting should be our biggest hopes + an athlete or two in MP , shooting , taekwondo , Swimming , for sorry right now we don't have a big name in fighting sports just like before except Taekwondo which also i'm not really optimistic at , Hedaya Malak our bronze medalist in Rio changed her weight category and went to -67 kg , Seif Essa in men's -84 kg isn't a guaranteed athlete and hasn't proven yet to be a big contender in his weight category , let's see what will happen at the end of the year

:DOM Yvonne Losos de Muniz received a wild card for the dressage WC final in Paris next month. Very well deserved, as 2018 started incredibly well for her. :)

From being stuck at low to mid 60s, including disappointing 61% from Rio, she is now hitting 70% competition after competition. :cheer:

All qualifiers for the dressage and jumping WC finals in Paris will be known after this weekend.

Do u have current list of qualifiers ?

the problem is mostly the management , for 2016 qualifiers, we couldn't use our best players (3 key players of our senior team at the time) because of that. U23 competitions in Asia usually don't fit with FIFA days and clubs here don't release their players for the training etc.

and we usually pick terrible coaches for this team :d last time our stupid coach benched his best player against Qatar (probably saving him for the next match), we lost to Qatar , finished 2nd in the group and got Japan in decisive quarterfinal match. (which we lost in extra time)

if you check the history, there is always a funny reason behind their failure, back in 2012 they used a non-eligible player (with two yellow cards) and got eliminated easily.

I lost hope in Olympic qualification in football, this is just not going to happen. we didn't even qualify for the 2018 AFC U23 championship losing to Oman (mostly because clubs didn't release their players for the qualifiers) but with that result, we won't be seeded for the next tournament which is the Olympic qualifier that makes thing even worse.

do u know who'll host the qualification tournament in Asia ? i think this can also play a rule , from Wikipedia  they say 4 countries are interested Australia and Vietnam are among the list , well apart from Korea and Japan :d it's always hard to find the 3rd team in Asia who'll join them now we have 2 other spots so it'll be a great battle for other 2 quotas , Iraq always delivers very good U23 teams , i always believe in Iran in Asia , KSA has some good talents at this age category and they proved it in U20 , Qatar always buying players and they're much focusing now on bringing young talents especially from Africa in Aspire Academy , they have been the best team by far at the last U23 tournament , they only had some hard luck against Vietnam IMO , Uzbekistan always has a shot , the host especially if it's awarded to Australia or Vietnam , well u can't predict clearly in football when it comes to olympics , but i think Korea , Iran and Qatar will qualify this time :mumble:

We won't have the same format, there will only one final OQT this time and it will have teams from all continents.

So ofc there won't be Mexico :d so 4 teams will qualify from WQT plus Asian best team ?

edit : i just checked the qualification process and i have to edit my predictions especially for Mexico :d
