  1. Can't believe Akerman is 45. I still remember her from Watchmen and she still looks spectacular.
  2. Time for the more balanced semifinal. Let's see who will surprise and beat it's odds of qualifying
  3. Looks like they are trying a new planning, with lesser rounds, but 3 starts on almost all of them. Don't know, if this is because they have trouble finding hosts, they want to reduce the teams travel, the weather problems or whatever. Having no proper relays and Oslo 50 km is BS, and they should have scheduled that better..
  4. Has there been a bigger sporting Governing Body failure recently, than FIS and Zermatt. All the announcements, fireworks, ground-breaking event etc. and there hasn't been a single race done
  5. I have no aspirations at all, after all the flops we have in this sport in past few years. You would think with the women, Selishka, Nikolova, Hristova and Yaneva all could get quotas. 2 of them would be borderline, 3 would be great. Men's FS i expect nothing. Ramazanov brothers, Vangelov, Naim never seem to make a good tournament from top to bottom and there are always a number of people that manage to beat them.
  6. Ugly or not, we deserved some luck after our two best, Nazaryan and Milov got injuries, when it mattered the most.. We could have had 4, but will get only the 2.
  7. Contrary to my prediction, i'm happy Australia's awful song didn't qualify and Slovenia stole its thunder. Surprised Serbia edged out Poland in the battle of uneventful performances. We could always suspect the CRO-SRB-SLO block to have played a factor.
  8. Benjamin Ingrosso taking Europe by storm? First time hearing about that But there is time to plug more swedish artists.
  9. All done, so time to mark my predictions for the results (not my preferences) 1. Croatia 2. Ukraine 3. Ireland 4. Finland 5. Lithuania 6. Cyprus 7. Portugal 8. Luxembourg 9. Australia 10. Poland Non-Qualifying: 11. Slovenia 12. Serbia 13. Azerbaijan 14. Moldova 15. Iceland
  10. Portugal was wonderful
  11. They will have more trouble with Finland's pants-less guy and UK's almost orgy.
  12. Hmm, i had Slovenia as a non-qualifier, but it looked better than Poland and Serbia.
  13. People should give Germany votes this time. They don't deserve the bottom 6 places.
  14. It will be on the juries, if Croatia will win. I'm confident the televote is theirs, just how much they will have to overcome. This year seems more jury balanced with Italy, France, Swiss, Ukraine splitting votes.
  15. Ok, time for the main event.
  16. Poland is very cute and warms my heart
  17. Hmmm, i see now why Ukraine have started drifting.
  18. Are we sure the postcards show the countries 2 best results, because it's always an old and a new song being featured?
  19. Ireland is just too batshit crazy for the general public imo. Sure qualifier, but will be stunned if they get anything better than 8-10 in the final. The staging performance was amazing though.
  20. Croatia and Slovenia in this 1/2 is their chance, but yeah, that was rather underwhelming.
  21. The crowd seems rather quiet for your typical Eurovision. Lithuania trying to get them going.
  22. The postcard ideas are super with two previous songs and also with the artist name at the end. Silia killed it
  23. How nice of them to invite the correct winners (in an alternate universe) for 2018 & 2022 to open this year's show.
  24. Oh, absolutely the bolded part. The politics, blatant favoritism, rigging, Bjorkman, Sweden and the general tampering more and more with the live singing has devalued the contest. Though for your first part, in the last 10 years, the silver and bronze medals are actually the real winners. Only Duncan Laurence and Maneskin (50-50 on Loreen last year) were deserving imo.
